here's one of my favourite latest discoveries...DrownSoda is a fizzing new french band that'll give you a high dose of epic synth nostalgia, mixed with a good swig of indie power pop and an even a few drops of punk and electrohouse...

Holograms is our first download... its catchy, mildly addictive start will get you singing to it whilst you're in the shower in no time! haha! well i have!... think of a kinda french LCD SoundSystem that's suddenly gone OMD...

Julien, the brain behind the Drownsoda project - who also plays the drums in nu wave band New Rose Hotel - tell us that he's he's working on new songs and that he's hoping to start touring live at the end of the summer... and GothRobot will definitely be supporting them all the way along!

hundreds of princes and pricesses from far away kingdoms in time and space contributed with trillions of compressed beats...

on the final day, when the many tunes were played, different variations of the same theme bored the Red Unicorn King's court until one of them shone with its own light...

Knight Van Cleef stood up proud and delighted everyone's ears with sheer aural ambrosia... a sound truly worthy of the Gods themselves... legend has it that the Queen Mauve Unicorn even wet her pants...
